The problem is that while A Brave Plan has some neat ideas for this narrative-based adventure, they’re implemented poorly.
Read full review ↗The Bradwell Conspiracy offers an intriguing take on the first-person puzzler formula, even if its USP lacks the simple creativity of other similar puzzle games.
Read full review ↗The Bradwell Conspiracy had the potential to become a memorable title because of its extremely creative mechanics associated with its thought-provoking storyline. Unfortunately the end result is an average experience, which can pay off if such ideas are well tapped in a possible sequence.
Read full review ↗The story makes a big deal out of various themes, but there are only fleeting moments where it all matters. I think that the biggest problem of The Bradwell Conspiracy is that getting through it is neither fun nor rewarding. There are so many frustrating moments to be had that I would simply rather play something else.
Read full review ↗The Bradwell Conspiracy runs terribly, the visuals are nothing special and the narrative is silly at best but that doesn’t stop Amber and the dialogue from standing out. I’d love to see what the developers, A Brave Plan, could do with more focus on the characters rather than plot, and a bigger budget for art and QA
Read full review ↗The Bradwell Conspiracy is a game that may feature some interesting puzzles and well executed dialogues but unfortunately, it must be said that performance problems and mostly, an unintuitive and constricting gameplay end up harming the experience and many players will feel like there are very few incentives to invest time and energy into this work.
Read full review ↗The Bradwell Conspiracy is a mediocre puzzle experience that doesn't last more than 6 hours. Regarding the game's disappointing story, technical issues and easy gameplay, there are better options in the same genre that you can fill your time.
Read full review ↗Overall, The Bradwell Conspiracy was a mixed experience for me. The narrative and aesthetics of the game are beautifully crafted. The look of this game is nothing short of amazing and the level design, especially with the puzzles, are enticing yet challenging.
Read full review ↗A lean, exciting conspiracy-thriller whose successes offset some notable faults.
Read full review ↗The truth is, I simply can't recommend The Bradwell Conspiracy in its present state. It just misses the mark in too many areas. With some fine-tuning and polish, its technical shortcomings could eventually be overcome, in which case it'll be ready for primetime. But playing it on the Nintendo Switch now has me reaching for a bottle of ibuprofen.
