The Escapists: Complete Edition

Undoubtedly, there has been enjoyment had by enough people to warrant a Switch release, but the time and patience to do the simplest things without external help was just not for me. The few humorous lines of dialogue spouted by the guards and fellow inmates did little to put a shine over my miserable time with The Escapists.

The Complete Edition of The Escapists can be easily considered the best entry in the series, but only because of Nintendo Switch. The gameplay mechanics and Switch capabilities are a royal match, and the addition of all the expansion packs in a package that costs only 15 dollars, makes it a title you want to have on your portable console.

Overall, this is a classic puzzle and strategy game with a wealth of content to keep the prison escapes interesting. While it does need some improvements to make it truly great, I'd still recommend fans of the genre to give it a spin and see if they have what it takes to be an escapist.
