Frantic, fluid, and fun, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] features all the greatest parts of the fighting game genre. It's not a revolutionary update, but rather an evolutionary one designed for those looking for accessible yet nuanced gameplay and a truly diverse roster.
Read full review ↗Not quite a must buy, this is an easy recommendation nonetheless. Especially for those in the mood of a 2D Anime fighting game that isn't Fighting Climax or other crossover fighting game. Obviously Arc System Works has their other iconic series, but this fighting game is up to snuff and definitely deserves a look. Even if the name reads like a weird out of the wood works isekai Light Novel.
Read full review ↗When I first got the game, I played through it non stop, experimenting with all the characters while also going through their stories in arcade mode. This is a game I would recommend for both fighting game veterans and newcomers alike. However, be warned that players in network mode can be very competitive so I would advise getting used to playing the game before trying out ranked matches.
