Waking Violet is a puzzle game that stands out among its peers. Thanks to original gameplay mechanics and to the use of creative thinking to solve the obstacles in the way, Waking Violet amounts to a very enjoyable game that puzzle fans will most definitely enjoy, with the added bonus of featuring a marvelous visual artwork.

Although Waking Violet has really small production values, it solves these deficiencies with a very good puzzle design and an original proposal in some of its mechanics. Challenging and perfectly measured in every way, it will please both veterans and novices of the genre.

I would recommend Waking Violet to anyone interested in puzzlers. Its mechanics provide enough unique challenges to get a couple hours of mind-bending game play. That, plus the artwork and design makes this game well worth it.
