Overall, Wings of Endless is a fun, vast, non-linear action RPG/Metroidvania game that’ll keep you busy for some time. The combat is, for the most part, enjoyable and simplistic, areas are fun to navigate and explore. If you can adjust to the counterintuitive controls and learn from your mistakes during boss battles, you’ll have a decent time with Wings of Endless.

Wings of Endless has some rough edges, but overall, it’s a vibrant, pixelated journey for players to explore while uncovering its charming story.

Wings of Endless‘ biggest failing is how utterly dull, amateurish, and milquetoast it can be. The entire package feels like a formless gray sludge that lacks any bite or confidence.

I felt that Wings of Endless was a game that had good ideas and content, but that strange flaws and odd design choices affected the quality. I would have loved for it to have been a positively memorable experience or with good ideas, but I feel like the developers lacked ambition or creativity.

Wings of Endless provides great value for money and, as a result, is a low-risk weekend pick-up for most action-RPG fans; it’s a great effort by the tiny development team from Uruguay. There are other action-RPGs out there that perhaps execute the party mechanic more effectively (Astalon: Tears of the Earth springs to mind) but there is a lot to be admired here; the positives outweigh the negatives in Wings of Endless and that’s what matters.

Wings of Endless, the action RPG from Uruguayan studio Isoca Games, offers a blend of action, exploration, and nostalgia that fans of the genre won't want to miss. It's true that it suffers from some balance issues, perhaps due to its humble origins. However, it's a fun and refreshing option that I can confidently recommend to any player looking for a 2D action adventure or wanting a game like those of yesteryear.

Wings of Endless is a 2D platform and adventure game that brings us a classic adventure in which we have to perform a series of tasks with our team. To do this we have a variety of enemies to defeat and that by defeating them we can improve our heroes.

Wings of Endless doesn’t try to change the genre; it just delivers everything you’d want from a 2D action-adventure RPG and does it well. With its dynamic combat, lovable cast, satisfying progression, and polished presentation, this is a game that quietly soars far above expectations. At its budget-friendly price and with a free demo available on Steam, there’s no reason not to give this one a shot. For anyone craving a retro-inspired adventure that respects your time and rewards your curiosity, this is a must-play

A retro-styled multi-character action RPG (with Metroidvania flavor) that has a solid feel, can be challenging (though sometimes too much so), and feels both retro and fresh
