Why play it

Yggdra Kingdom is a visual novel that combines interactive storytelling with action elements, set in a world that resembles London. Players take on the role of a protagonist who inadvertently enters this parallel realm. As they explore the royal capital, the gameplay involves character interactions and combat situations, utilizing special armor and abilities. The game allows players to make choices that impact relationships and narrative outcomes. With its focus on character development and decision-making, Yggdra Kingdom presents a unique experience that explores themes of loyalty and justice within an engaging, interactive environment.

Story and worldbuilding

During a field trip to London, protagonist Eiha Nagai gets lost in the city at night. After somehow making it to the station, he discovers a mysterious egg in the pitch-black terminal. “What kind of egg is this? It’s so beautiful…” Just then, the egg cracked and shattered before his eyes, and he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he was standing in a entirely different world—one that still resembled London, yet was completely distinct. The Royal Capital: Salem. There, he meets a girl named Shelley Reinstad, who is searching for her father, accused by the kingdom of regicide. To return to his own world—and to help the girl who saved him… As Eiha continues to fight, donning the dragon armor Clarias, he draws ever closer to the truth hidden within this world.
