Your Personal Chill Apartment is a welcome addition to the crowded landscape of productivity apps. While it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, the game does what it sets out to do – to allow us to create some chill digital spaces, quite nicely.

Your Personal Chill Apartment works best as a tool in your daily life, rather than a game in the traditional sense. Reward yourself with new products for your apartment as you go through your daily life and create the quiet hub of your dreams. With lovely visuals and ambient music it's a relaxing, enjoyable experience, but the lack of depth or replayability will mean this is a one or two hour effort that offers little outside its core mechanic.

As with most productivity-focused games, Your Personal Chill Apartment doesn’t offer a narrative, but there’s no lore, either. It’s just a room in a modern setting—a quiet corner room with a window view (if you add a window) and a soft soundtrack. You’re not playing a character with a goal or journey. Instead, the game provides a blank canvas where your real-world achievements fuel your in-game room decorating... For players looking for simple ambience, that might be enough. But for me... it felt like something was missing.
