Crimson Moon is a cooperative roguelike with potential. It features beautiful settings and competent gameplay despite some issues and includes Portuguese subtitles. However, it lacks polish in several areas; bugs need fixing, combat requires refinement, and most importantly enemy durability needs adjustment. This makes it difficult to recommend the project, at least in its current state, given that there are better titles in the genre.

Read full review ↗Crimson Moon is no masterpiece in a year replete with them, but it’s a decent debut for ProbablyMonsters, nonetheless.
Read full review ↗I had a lot of fun with the game’s combat, which supports both solo and duo play. I can easily see developer Probably Monsters adding more levels, monsters, and gear. With a few patches to iron out the camera, Crimson Moon will be a solid choice for fans of fantasy action
Read full review ↗There was clearly an attempt to make a good game here. While Crimson Moon’s Unreal Engine-driven environments and the great progression system try their best to carry the experience, the final result is constantly suffocated by the convoluted story, a limited weapon pool, and a lack of accessibility options. Even when the co-op action starts to click, the lethal camera system and the game’s inability to prepare you for its mechanics quickly kill the momentum.
Read full review ↗If you’re a fan of killing demons and the like as an angelic force of destruction, then Crimson Moon is easily worth the $19.99 USD asking price. And hell, even if you’re not, it might still be worth it just to have another fun co-op game to play with friends.
Read full review ↗Crimson Moon does have its rough camera and combat issues, but the $20 price tag, adjustable builds, short runs, and fun co-op make it easy to recommend to Soulslike fans looking for a more manageable experience.
Read full review ↗Crimson Moon is what happens when you combine Soulslikes, Roguelikes, and tie it together with good music. A good time for action fans.
Read full review ↗At the end of the day, Crimson Moon doesn’t need to reinvent the Soulslike genre to be worth your time. It knows exactly what it wants to be, a quick, loot-heavy romp you can tackle solo or with a friend, and it does that well enough to earn a spot in your rotation. The camera hiccups and a few control quirks keep it from being a home run, but for $20, it’s an easy recommendation. Sometimes a game doesn’t have to blow you away to be worth playing, and Crimson Moon proves that.
Read full review ↗While its less-than-stellar features can be a game-breaker for some, Crimson Moon is an engaging, unique game that offers several great features.
