Darq has some frustrating stealth encounters and an overabundance of jump scares, but those small blunders aren't enough to take away from the sense of wonder that comes from helping Lloyd navigate his nightmares.

Darq is an intelligent puzzle game with a delightfully dreary setting that is over far quicker than you want it to be.

DARQ Ultimate Edition combines a creepy premise with clever puzzles that are well constructed with a rich atmosphere, supported by bonus content that provides answers to some of the mysteries raised in the game.

DARQ Ultimate Edition is a fantastic game and a lot of fun, but unfortunately it doesn't last as long as players would like. It will be awesome for a sequel to happen, but as long as the game doesn't repeat the current failures.

DARQ: Ultimate Edition stands out with great visual and audio design, immersing you within its nightmarish dream world without needing to say a single word. Your time playing as Lloyd, while short, will be a memorable one full of clever puzzles, strange enemies, and physics-bending mechanics.

Darq is a nice surprise on the next-gen consoles especially with the haptic feedback of the PS5. Despite being short and offering fairly easy puzzles, the game manages to be interesting.

Ladies and gentlemen let me present you the game Darq! It's genius, creepy and a crazy adventure! although it's kind of short experience, for the people who loved games like: Inside, Little Nightmares, Limbo etc… this game is definitely a must.

Basically, if you enjoy a good puzzler, don’t mind a scare or two, and appreciate a refined noir aesthetic, you really can’t go far wrong with Darq Complete Edition. It was a genuinely nice surprise from the time I booted up to when the credits rolled and one I’ve already recommended to a few friends. Don’t sleep on this one!

Like trying to solve your way out of a puzzle box that’s persistently creepy and occasionally nightmarish, Darq is an artistic game that leverages perspective to have your cogs turning and your head spinning. There’s a number of puzzles that rely on trial and error and stand our as low points but the rest of the game, including the 2 additional chapters, make this an easy recommendation for puzzle game fans.
