Gravitaws is a retro-style stage shooter inspired by Jaws (NES). Explore a dynamic overworld map. Collect research materials and upgrades, while evading an Alien invader. The story is delivered in classic style cutscenes. Fight bosses, survive, collect, fish, and bomb your way to victory.
Story and worldbuilding
In a distant future, calamity strikes from the heavens when a meteor crashes off the coast, sending the local marine ecosystem into a total frenzy. Players step into the wetsuit of John Sheider—a classic ex-secret agent turned high school science teacher. Armed with a charter boat and mechanical expertise from local allies, Sheider must dive deep beneath the waves to gather research materials, investigate the alien anomaly, and uncover why local citizens are mysteriously vanishing.
