The definitive version of one of the best and most overlooked fighting games of recent years.
Read full review ↗Right now, Xrd proper is teetering around $30 or less -- a little more if you buy all the DLC. It's debatable whether or not Revelator is worth another full 60 bones on PS4 if you only lightly touched the original, but between this and Street Fighter V, I'm set for a long while. Plus, I'm sure all the "no Jam, no buy" fans don't mind the $60 price of admission.
Read full review ↗Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- offers up a wonderfully entertaining, complex game, and the addition of stylish mode makes it the perfect starting point for those looking get into Guilty Gear. It's addictive, frenetic, and varied, not to mention absolutely stunning. If you already own Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, you may have to take a harder look at this improved package, but for everyone else, this is one of the very best fighters on the market.
Read full review ↗Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator will have zero complaints from new and experienced players, but Xrd Sign players who are less bothered about roster updates will find less to enjoy.
Read full review ↗Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- serves as a worthy expansion/sequel to Sign in many ways.
Read full review ↗When all is said and done, Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- is a great addition to Steam's stable of fighting games.
Read full review ↗In many ways, Revelator can be seen as the definitive version of Guilty Gear Xrd. Packing in more characters, more stages, more modes, and more unlockables, this is what -SIGN- should have originally been. Though it is a shame that this is a standalone release rather than a downloadable upgrade, the sheer amount of content available more than makes up for it.
Read full review ↗Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- is one of these pieces of software that, although its level of quality is worthy of applause, as a product alone, is almost "offensive" towards consumers. To summarise, this is a great fighter… but approach only if you haven't spent any money on the previous instalment, since it's almost the same deal… Not to mention that half of its newly added roster is hidden behind a pretty high price tag.
Read full review ↗I think the PC version of Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator is great and Revelator is still the definitive version of Xrd. However a few issues like the online mode not being to snuff and the lack of any noticeable improvements over the PS4 version make it hard to recommend at it's current price of $49.99 or $45 if you own Xrd on Steam.
