Why play it

Lost Host is a story-driven adventure puzzle game about a small toy car searching for its missing owner. When the boy mysteriously disappears, the toy car begins a journey through the house and beyond, exploring dark rooms, hallways, foggy streets, and abandoned places while following clues to uncover what happened. Players control the toy car as it navigates dangerous environments, solves physics-based puzzles, and interacts with objects to progress. The world is full of hazards for a tiny toy car - heights, fire, water - as well as enemies such as dogs, robotic vacuums, and hostile toy creatures. The game combines atmospheric exploration, light horror elements, and emotional storytelling, creating a family-friendly adventure centered on mystery, discovery, and survival in a large, human-sized world.

Story and worldbuilding

One night, a young boy disappears without a trace. His room is left quiet and still, except for a small toy car that suddenly comes to life. Unable to understand what happened to its owner, the car begins a lonely journey to find him. Following scattered clues, the toy car travels through the house, exploring dark rooms, dusty corners, and forgotten spaces. As it moves further, the trail leads outside into the fog-covered streets and abandoned places of a large, mysterious world. Along the way, the car encounters dangers far greater than itself - aggressive animals, malfunctioning machines, and strange toy creatures lurking in the shadows. Despite its size, the car presses on, driven by the hope of finding the boy and uncovering the truth behind his disappearance.
