If you love Asterix and Obelix, then Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia is definitely a game for you … or if you're after a family friendly title, then The Ram From Hibernia will definitely keep everyone invested. All in all, an enjoyable title on the Xbox Series X that is also quite short that will keep the attention of younger gamers.
Read full review ↗Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia is a title that will succeed in satisfying its target audience, thanks to its playful simplicity and immediacy and the truly very successful audiovisual compartment. At the same time, however, if you are looking for a deeper game look elsewhere, Hibernia is not for you.
Read full review ↗At the end of the day, after the roughly five hours needed to reach the credits, Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia earns a passing grade, given the evident limitations that partially undermine Osome Studio's new work. These limits revolve around a concept that is too simple and predictable, with co-op and interesting puzzles being its main strengths, aside from the character charm. The adventure is solid overall but lacks that spark to make a real difference, especially in a crowded release period. What remains is an honest and enjoyable game, proportionate to its price, but not one to leave an indelible mark on players' memories.

It can provide similar action to those that have already gone through all of the other Asterix and Obelix action games. Even then, those interested should consider a price drop from the current $30 price. For new players, one should, at minimum play Asterix and Obelix XXL Romastered and Asterix and Obleix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum first before considering this spiritual sequel.

If you were to pick one of those up, I would probably point you to an earlier entry in the series, Asterix & Obelix XXL2: Mission Las Vegum, which was recently re-released on Switch and is all-around a much more well put together and fun game.
Read full review ↗Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia manages to be a fun, family friendly top-down beat ‘em up that will also make you laugh. The main things I hold against it is that there isn’t a lot of variety in the gameplay and it won’t last you more than a few hours most likely. I would personally wait on a sale to get this one as it is much easier to recommend for a lower price.

Read full review ↗Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia is an arcade title with a lot of action and many beatings to Romans that, although it can become repetitive in the long run, has very good ideas.
Read full review ↗Yet another adventure by Asterix and Obelix published in recent years, yet another production that fails to take flight. Indeed, Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia is perhaps the least successful production among those published by Microids focused on the famous Gallic duo.
