Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland proves to be a great entry in Gust’s long-running series, and much like the many concoctions made by Lulua, this is a refined final product that reflects several of the best traits of the predecessors that came before.

Atelier Lulua continues the story of the Arland trilogy of games while taking the mechanics of more recent Atelier titles and refining them.

Lulua is an exceptionally safe Atelier title that feels less like a return to form and more like an achromatic stroll down the rugged cobblestone of memory lane.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is one of the best entries in the Atelier series. While the story is not particularly exciting, the charming characters, enjoyable world and streamlined game mechanics can keep players engaged for a very long time. Highly recommended to fans of the series and to those looking for a nice JRPG that's not too demanding. The links above are affiliate links. In virtually every way possible Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is a wonderful end to the Arland saga. It brings together familiar characters and tales, and introduces new fans to several more games to pick up and enjoy. Lulua isn't perfect, but her constant efforts eventually herald results. Her growth as a person and as an alchemist brings immense joy, making replay value high just to relive her journey once again.

Atelier Lulua is a fun, comfy RPG adventure, continuing the addictive alchemy loop this series comes to provide, with an enjoyable battle system and a really addicting loop of collecting and gathering materials, Lulua is just a great relaxing RPG to enjoy, even though it may not do anything too inventive in terms of the series, it’s still an enjoyable entry, whether you’re new to the series and unfamiliar with Rorona’s adventure, or excited to see the trilogy extend to yet another game.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is the end point Arland saga. Lulua is the daughter of Rorona and this story tells us the life of Lulua, a girl looking to be an alchemist. This the most simple Atelier’s game regarding the alchemy, but the most beautiful game of saga.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is a significant leap in the series when compared to its predecessors. Not only has its visual environment undergone a major rework next to previous games in the series, it also features the finest alchemy and combat systems in games carrying the Atelier name. The best game for anyone to enter this series and a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

It took me back to the days of spending an hour in the menus of Final Fantasy VII, trying to find the perfect materia combinations and for that reason, I loved it.
