With gorgeous pixel graphics, weapon builds to learn, and enemy designs that continually delight, plus some excellent maps to explore and uncover, this is a fantastic little collection that should please any Metroidvania fan. That each adventure is a little more digestible compared to 25-hour epics from recent times is an added bonus.
Read full review ↗Castlevania Dominus Collection is quite possibly the best compilation that Konami and M2 have produced to date. It presents three exceptional DS games that easily stand the test of time and provide just as much enjoyment now as they did back in the 2000s. Not only that, but the impossible has seemingly been achieved with the remarkable addition of Haunted Castle Revisited. Included as a fun little bonus, this revamped take on a reviled arcade curio is fantastic, and while it can't compete with the very best 'classic' games in the franchise, it's the closest we've gotten to a brand new Castlevania in years. An exquisite package.

Read full review ↗Over the past five years or so, Konami has become a standard-bearer in preserving and presenting video game history. There have been bumps along the road of course, but Castlevania Dominus Collection is not just a set of ROMs grouped together that benefits from comprising all-time greats.
Read full review ↗Castlevania Dominus Collection is not only a great collection of games but also an impressive technical feat of bringing games designed for Nintendo DS hardware to modern platforms.
Read full review ↗Castlevania Dominus Collection sets a new standard for classic game re-releases. When Nintendo still struggles to make its classic gaming library legally accessible, Konami unintentionally provided the perfect history lesson on the Nintendo DS through this amazing handheld trilogy. The collection puts equally nostalgic but much lazier cash grabs to shame with how much it offers to both franchise veterans and newcomers at such an affordable price. Until Dracula is resurrected yet again in the next official Castlevania game, this collection and other retro Castlevania sets like it will provide plenty of whip-cracking fun to pass the time until that fateful day comes. Or, at the very least, until a new season of Castlevania: Nocturne is ready to stream.
Read full review ↗Castlevania Dominus Collection is another excellent work by Konami and M2 in making their classic titles available for new platforms. The pack contains three fun titles that push Igavania to its limits and explore new and interesting possibilities for the formula.
Read full review ↗Castlevania Dominus Collection is an invitation to the world of four acclaimed games in the Castlevania series. A collection that embodies a large part of Castlevania's history and identity, and is a must-have experience for all fans of the series.
Read full review ↗The Dominus Collection is a welcome addition to the Konami classics. Revisiting these games gave me a new appreciation for them. They all three hold up well and the music continues to be timeless. Yet another stellar package of classics, now Konami needs to sort out the Symphony of the Night issues and perhaps add them to the 64 and PS2-era games for one final collection. That would be epic.
