As a fun distraction on your mobile device on a bus or train journey, League of Evil works well. However, it does not lend itself particularly well to a console port that you will find yourself longing to play for any significant amount of time
Read full review ↗League of Evil looks and feels like a mobile game, but it’s competitively priced and offers a lot of replay value.
Read full review ↗If you're looking for a fun and fast-paced 2D action platformer, then you should certainly check out League of Evil.
Read full review ↗Seeing as there are plenty of games in the same genre appearing on Nintendo's new console and how League of Evil doesn't feature anything that makes it groundbreaking, this ends up being a game that won't cause a significant impact on most players.
Read full review ↗League of Evil is a very fun and addictive 2D platforming release on Nintendo Switch. It's pixel art graphics are bright and colorful, it's gameplay is solid and controls work flawlessly, and the music is a great complement to the action. I'm happy that Ratalaika Games decided to bring us this one on Nintendo Switch, and I look forward to checking out what they do next for Nintendo's console.
Read full review ↗It saddens me to say that League of Evil is just a simple platformer game and not much more.
Read full review ↗League of Evil has its faults, but it more than makes up for them through its robust and accessible level editor. While it's a six year port that shows its age, it's still a great way to get your twitch-reflex platformer fix.
Read full review ↗League of Evil is a fun little game and still satisfies that craving that it set out to do several years ago. It doesn't quite have the personality and flair that Slime-san possesses and even back in the day it was never in the same league as Super Meat Boy, but it does have its own little charm and style. There's still plenty of addictive fun to be had that will certainly test your skills and patience. Add that with the added cross-play level editor and you're unlikely to run out of challenges as long as the community keeps the creativity alive.
Read full review ↗At its best, League of Evil is a simple but challenging ride suited to short bursts of play. One that controls exceptionally, but struggles to fully amaze where its peers do so elsewhere.
Read full review ↗All in all League of Evil is a very hard but ultimately just simply okay platformer.
