Mists of Noyah

Mists of Noyah is an ambitious game with many cool features. However, these features unfortunately aren't polished, making for a frustrating gameplay experience.

The feeling that Mists of Noyah left me with is that everything could have been more. The foundation is solid and it's there, but the title can't quite cope with the bunch of mechanics and influences it embraces.

Despite its good ideas, the execution falls short in finding a balance between exploration, combat, and survival mechanics.

Mists of Noyah is like a dungeon master’s game with no imagination. You might want to step into this fictional world as a brave knight or a powerful sorceress, but the landscapes here are bleak and lack any deeper meaning, so you have no reason to sit down at the table a second time. The developers likely weren’t able to clarify their priorities during development, so the current version is just another mindless RPG game—the kind we’ve already seen dozens of on the market.
