Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game unfortunately does not offer a particularly improved experience, remaining ideal for a limited audience, which, however, will not find many new things to keep them engaged with the title.

Ultimately, I didn't enjoy my time with Monster Energy Supercross 25, which is a shame because I've had a lot of fun with past games in the series and Supercross games in general over the years. There's a lot here in terms of content, with a robust career mode and track editor, and plenty of things to unlock along the way. However, I just didn't get on with the actual riding experience.

Monster Energy Supercross 25: The Official Video Game is specifically for the hardcore motocross fanatic. Those fans will love things like the ability to play a current season of the sport and the presence of tangible track deformation. For everyone else, this is a difficult game to recommend. From the high difficulty level and steep learning curve to the bare-bones campaign, there's not enough to entice interested players to give this a try. At this rate, your best bet is to wait and see if this game or older entries in the series will reach Game Pass, so you can see if you can gel with this title.

Sometimes a two-year break is certainly good for one or other of the annual racing game series. This also applies in part to Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game. The switch to the latest Unreal engine brings improvements to the graphics, while the rest of the gameplay is definitely convincing, as in the previous parts. The AI in particular often does a good job and allows for exciting chases or shoulder-to-shoulder duels over several rounds. Thanks to various editors, there are plenty of customization options. The very good track editor should also be mentioned here, which is ultimately quite rudimentary, but still more than fulfills its purpose. And the Rhythm Attack mode, especially in the career mode, provides a nice break and surprisingly exciting duels right up to the finish line. All in all, Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game delivers a lot of tried and tested features and, apart from a few minor details, presents itself as a well-rounded package.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 offers a refined gameplay, strong of a new bike physics management and dynamicity of the tracks, succeeding in always giving us exciting and fun races. It unfortunately stumbles on a technical realization that leaves a bit of a sour taste and a certain lack of willingness to dare, but it still remains an excellent Supercross game.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 aims to split the difference between a simulation skill-demands and arcade accessibility but misses the mark.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a terrible name for such a finely crafted game. This is for the hardcore fans of the sport and Milestone has gone the extra mile to make sure all the realism is intact. They could have done more to ease in casual players, but everything else is fantastic.

The change of engine in Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game will bring, in the medium and long term, the necessary benefits to a franchise that was clearly stagnating. But the current version of the game still relies on its old qualities in gameplay, while suffering from the same limitations in both the visual presentation and the conservatism of the game modes.

Overall, handlebars in hand, we are faced with one of the best chapters that Milestone has produced for the Monster Energy Supercross series , which improves in some key aspects and which, while not perfect, puts itself on the right track for the future.

With great looks, an impressive and realistic feel, and just enough arcade race traits to grab you and not let go, Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a fun experience.
