Sir Lovelot reminds me of a bit of Super Meat Boy, but easier and less hair pulling challenging. It’s a fun addictive little platformer that will have players go “one just more level” until they reach the end.

Sir Lovelot is an action platformer following a heroic knight. His quest is simple, to save as many princesses as possible, and swoon them with gifts he finds along the way. In the pursuit of true love, maneuver through over forty levels and gain collectibles along the way.

Sir Lovelot is a very short and cute game that will allow you to relax after a hard day's work and have fun. Super Meat Boy for beginners.

There’s much deeper experiences out there, no question, but if you’re looking for something low risk, easy going, with a cheap price point and lovely musical score, this might just be the perfect palette cleanser.

Sir Lovelot is a game that I recommend, especially considering its low price and definitely in line with the content offered. Sir Lovelot requires attention, patience, sensory memory and reflexes, rewarding the player with a few hours of fun seasoned with a slight humorous aura. A title suitable for anyone who wants to try to get closer to the genre without jumping directly into that slaughterhouse, literally, which may be Super Meat Boy, but which perhaps will not be able to satisfy those who already come from those peaks that are unattainable for me now.

With a silly premise, tight 2D gameplay, and rewarding collectibles, Sir Lovelot is sure to delight as you master stage after stage.

I have a soft spot for old-school platform games, and I love the fairy tale theme. The only issue I have with Sir Lovelot is the lack of originality in the gameplay. Nothing felt new or fresh! It was done to a good standard, but it didn’t capture my imagination. I loved the tongue-in-cheek take on romance and the art style, but I wish the audio stood out more. I recommend it because of its theme and the good standard set throughout, and you can buy a copy here! Sir Lovelot is an old romantic at heart, he searches every corner of the realm to find his true love. Will he be successful, or is he destined to be with the first girl he finds?

Sir Lovelot is a fun 2D platformer with tight controls, but light on content.

Sir Lovelot doesn’t do much of anything new for a platformer but it’s an enjoyable time for the few hours that it will last you. The levels are just challenging enough to not be boring and completing the optional objectives is something you can do to get a bit more out of it. Sir Lovelot’s quest for love would be a bit more enjoyable though if the team took out the water parts and deviated from the formula just a bit more.
