The gameplay is too simple and a little disappointing giving an anti-climactic feel. For me Ascendance offers no more then a climbing experience, and although there is indeed a soul to the game there’s no substance.

ASCENDANCE is a playable experience with simple premises and a goal that seeks calm and relaxation as we move forward by jumping between platforms and getting access to all the nodes, and control points, which unfortunately suffers several ups and downs due to technical issues, and certain decisions in the design that may know little or fall into repetition, although the short duration can also be a palliative for this. But if you like the type of game, its low price may invite you to give it a try.
