This game is a perfect party title, I had a lot of fun playing with my kids, there was plenty of excitement and enjoyment, the game is beautifully created, has a whole host of options to change things up. The control’s fit well with the game and are very responsive. The settings for the rounds are spot on and full of charm.

With the stated commitment to continue to support Bombfest after launch, it is definitely a good buy for party game enthusiasts. Hopefully online multiplayer, more maps, and even more wild bomb types are on the horizon, so Bombfest can have an even bigger impact.

While thankfully if you’re short of the full 4 people that help keep the intensity high and the fun chaotic the AI does a fine (perhaps even too good) job of filling in, this is a game that works best with other people, optimally filling all slots...

MEDIOCRE - Bombfest is a physics-based brawler that, while visually cute, falls short of bringing much in the way of strategic gameplay, coming off far more random in outcomes than desired. There’s a lot of content that can be unlocked which is wonderful, but when it comes to new bombs, they just don’t stand out as meaningful, resulting in more of a bland execution than desired.
