A sumptuous feast in multiplayer, but a bit bland and monotonous when going solo, Mushroom Wars 2 is nonetheless an accessible and deep and enjoyable real-time strategy experience. There is plenty to dig into, especially if you enter the online competitive arena. Although the game does show it's mobile roots on occasion as the single-player campaign is ironically 'by the numbers', Mushroom Wars 2 is definitely a dish best served cold, and with a group of fun guys or gals.
Read full review ↗At the end of the day, whether you played the first or not, Mushroom Wars 2 is an enjoyable RTS that is accessible to all and a cracking bit of fun to play. Multiplayer, whether local or online is a special kind of quick-paced, slap you in the face fun that balances things out in a very nice manner. Great game to pick up in short spurts, as it doesn’t have the depth to keep you invested for too long at a time. Well worth picking up if you are in the mood for some fun.
Read full review ↗Mushroom Wars 2 is a little strategy game with a nice design and good soundtrack - it's only made for shorter sessions though as it lacks something that keeps me motivated.
Read full review ↗It may grow on you, Mushroom Wars 2. Especially if you like intense online battles! I would really suggest trying this game out even if you don’t have mush room left on your storage.

Read full review ↗Mushroom Wars 2 is a fun, back-to-basics RTS that distills the core elements of the genre into one fungi-laden package. It might be too basic for hardcore players who want a lot more meat in their RTS game. For folks looking for a quick, pick-up-and-play RTS or those who want to introduce newcomers to the genre, however, this just might be well worth your truffle.
Read full review ↗All in all while I can’t say Mushroom Wars 2 changed my mind about the genre, it’s certainly a great game for fans of it. There is a ton of content here and the multiplayer is robust and a ton of fun. I had a little issue with the controls here, but I feel that was mostly me being used to RTS games on a PC rather than a console. If you’re not a fan of this genre, you should probably avoid this one, but fans should certainly look into picking this one up at the $19.99 price tag. You will get a lot of bang for your buck.
Read full review ↗The gameplay of Mushroom Wars 2 is capable, there just isn't a lot to it. Despite the game's one-hundred plus levels, there's not enough deviation to justify sitting down with it for an extended period of time. It's more suited for playing a level or two while killing a brief amount of time. And that's okay, the game was designed for mobile platforms after all. For fifteen dollars, however, you can get a much more fulfilling experience.
Read full review ↗Mushroom Wars 2 is an addictive game suitable for players who want to practice their strategic skills in short, but challenging battles. Perfect for travelling with Nintendo Switch in full version, it only fails to utilize the touch screen to improve the game controls. Hero skills and mission variability compensate the lacking story.
Read full review ↗At USD$19.99, Mushroom Wars 2 is one of those games you should consider picking up if you’ve exhausted all the other local multiplayer games on the Nintendo eShop. It takes a specific personality and group of friends to thoroughly enjoy this title. Due to its fast-paced action, players will be able to easily squeeze in multiple rounds per session which is perfectly suited for on-the-go gaming.
