One Dog Story

The adventure of this gun-toting, jetpack-flying, anthropomorphic dog is one that impresses at first, but slowly begins to unravel over time.

It's a shame about the game's issues later in the campaign, because there's a lot to like in One Dog Story. The art design is great, the story is interesting, and the combat is satisfying; but poor design and technical issues hold the game back from its full potential.

Usually when it comes to videogames, there are qualities that allow them to stand out, in a good or a bad way. One Dog Story doesn't quite have that distinction. For the most part, it's just a solidly built game. It does everything in its power to keep players occupied for several hours.
