Rage in Peace is a frustrating endless runner with a poor story. Only for true hardcore gamers.

Rolling Glory Jam has really managed to create a truly great, challenging and fun story-driven side-scrolling action/adventure/platform game with “Rage In Peace”. So if you’re into challenging action/platform adventure games, then “Rage In Peace” is the game for you.

On the whole this really covers the core experience and I’d consider that to be a love it or hate it proposition. If you don’t mind cheap deaths and will continue to find the many forms it takes amusing as you try to trip through the veritable minefield in every segment between checkpoints this may work for you. However, if after a while you think your patience may run thin as you can’t quite memorize where you need to stand or jump or dodge out of the way at a given moment it will likely grate on your nerves instead.

The fact that Rage in Peace is Rolling Glory Jam’s first game they have created is truly unbelievable. You can literally feel the passion that every member of the team has for the game as you play this wonderful indie title. Sure, it has its moments, which feel cheap, when the difficulty gets to a point where you have to either focus really hard to conquer that section or just walk away and take a break. However, wanting to know how the story concludes is what pushed me through those tough parts, and I am glad it did. I plan on keeping an eye on this studio in the future!
